Meet our Directors:

Adrian Tatham
Chief Executive Officer

Alacrity’s Founder and CEO, Adrian Tatham, has been specialising in interactive communications for the past seven years and has decades of experience in the public and private sectors, both in Australia and internationally.

In 1999, Adrian’s dedication to addressing the need for real-time interactive business communication led him to create Alacrity technologies to develop the core technologies that today underpin the innovative CLEW communications platform.

Prior to founding Alacrity, Adrian enjoyed sales and project director positions at multinational IT services companies including GECITS (now CSC) as well as Fujitsu and Powerlan. He began his career in the Australian Customs Service, where Adrian worked for more than 20 years in areas including investigations, law enforcement and implementing new technology strategies such as advanced passenger processing.

 

Michael O’Sullivan
Director

Michael O’Sullivan is the strategic leader of Alacrity’s commercial and legal development. He has decades of ICT and commercial experience as well as a proven record in overseeing rapid corporate growth.

As the former Commercial Director of KAZ, which he joined in 1991 and left in 2005, Michael was pivotal in growing the company from 30 employees to Australia’s largest ICT services provider. He held key roles in KAZ’s float on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2000 and its acquisition by Telstra for $333 million in 2004.

Prior to KAZ, Michael consulted to the NSW Treasury Department and was the Commercial Manager for ICT services company AWA.

 

Andy Becker
Non-Executive Director

Andy Becker is formerly the Electoral Commissioner of the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC). His previous career includes eight years at the AEC as Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner and prior to that, 16 years as the South Australian Electoral Commissioner.

At the AEC, Andy managed the 2001 and 2004 federal elections and oversaw the Constitutional Convention election and the 1999 referendum. During this time, the AEC earned a global reputation for being at the forefront of electoral technology.

Andy has extensive management experience as well as a global network of contacts from the business and public sectors.

 

Arsi Honkanen
Chief Technical Officer

Arsi Honkanen is Alacrity’s lead architect for the development and delivery of Alacrity’s technical strategies and innovations

Arsi holds a Masters degree in Computer Science and an MBA with specialisations in International Business and Technology.

Arsi has over 10 years of software development and project management experience. He has been involved in the creation and implementation of new software innovations surrounding network management, mobile protocol software, GPS, mobile entertainment and network billing from a total of five companies including Nokia in Finland.

Arsi’s technical experience combined with his global network of business contacts will prove invaluable in the company’s continued growth both nationally and internationally.

 

David Knox
International Business Consultant

David Knox has over 35 years experience in the IT industry operating in many different countries. He has lived in Australia for more than 20 years working both in Australia and Asia.

David joined the KAZ Group in 1992 as the Executive Director of Business Development to build the Computer outsourcing business for KAZ, and played an integral part in the company's continuous growth throughout the Asia Pacific and beyond. In the last 4 years David has been primarily responsible for the Asian hub of the Group and has developed and built the Asian operation with major operations in Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand.

David offers a truly proven, in depth, hands on knowledge of the IT industry and its application to business needs and growth. He has been highly successful in the development and implementation of business solutions and the development of new business and has established business networks in Australia and Asia.
